My shower curtain is so yak and dirty. Can I clean it or I have to replace it?

Most of us know that shower curtains get dirty and grimy very quickly.

Mine was so dirty that I considered replacing it with a new one, but,  before I did that I decided to give a go cleaning it, to see if I could  save it and avoid spending money 

The best way I found out to clean it was:

1 soak the end of the curtain it in a bit off VIAKAL for at least 15min

2 Give them a bit of a rub

3  After they been soaking for a while I take out, rinse them, to take the viakal off

4 Put them in the washing machine with detergent ( I like Persil non - bio) + white vinegar + softener ( my favourite is white comfort)

5 After the machine is finished I take them out straight away and hang them still wet 

I think I'm keeping them for a bit longer

P.S.  Because I have 2 shower curtains, I keep my  shower curtains rings facing opposite directions, that way I know in wich ring wich curtain goes, saving me a lot of time and stress when time comes to put the curtains back
