HOW TO GET RID OF BURNED FOOD FROM MY PAN

Sometimes it happens, you are cooking, the kid comes along and asks a question, you get so involved explaining or answering, that’s when one forgets what was doing until you smell something in the air or worse the fire alarm goes off, You go back to the kitchen, Dinner is ruined and the pan... well you think, "can I save it or do I need to buy a new one".

I found a very quick way to resolve the problem

All you need is:

A dishwasher tablet (I prefer this one ) or some washing machine detergent.

 A brush or wooden spoon

1 - To the pan on top of the cooker ( not very high heat ) add water and a dishwasher tablet

2 -  Let it boil for a few minutes and with a scrub brush or wooden spoon give a bit of a scrub - if you are using a plastic brush you may notice the bristles will bend a bit.

Keep an eye on the pan, giving a bit of scrub to lose the burned food from the bottom of the pan

3 - Let it boil until the pan is completely cleaned

4 - Wash as normal

5 - Mine looks like new again. Good look with yours

P.S. This process requires a bit of time and patience

NOTE Before you throw away the detergent use it to clean the stove/sink or even better a good wipe to the oven. Those days we have to find differents ways to save money.

Do wear some gloves the water is very HOT and the detergent is strong.

With a damp cloth give a good wipe.

Remember to rinse the soap off from the stove really well

This was another pan of mine, REMEMBER if has any grease just wipe it clean with kitchen paper, do not it pour down the drain
