HOW TO REMOVE CANDLE WAX FROM A SILK TABLECLOTH

I'm very careful with my things but sometimes accidents happen.

This time was wax from a candle that dripped on top of my silk tablecloth.

I did send it to be dry cleaned but they refused to do it because they were afraid if they used chemicals, they would damage the fabric.

So I did a bit of investigation and with some trial and error, I fund 2 ways to remove the candle wax from the silk tablecloth:                                  - Squeezing                                                                                                  - Rowling

                                         WELL LETS START

1  - Do not get the fabric wet.

2  - Squeezing movement - like the one you use to squeeze a pimple, very gently squeeze the wax upwards - try to remove it without breaking it.

3 - Rowling - roll the material between your fingers, back and forward, back and forward - very gently,  try not to press the wax.

As you can  see, it peels off easily.

The wax came off so easy, did not leave any stain and the tablecloth did not need to be washed.

NOTE:  Please take care when removing candle wax from fabrics - different fabrics OR even different tips of silks, sometimes require different ways to remove the wax.
