STEPS TO FOLLOW TO TIDY A BEDROOM WITHOUT GETTING DISTRACTED

It is so easy to get a bit distracted when it comes to tidy the house. So many rooms to tidy, things to put away, clothes to wash, fold and not enough time to do it all.

After years of strangling, I found if I focus one room at the time and stick to my routine and do not get distracted and try not to do too many things at the same time, I can accomplish much more.

So I trained my brain to follow this steps and now it is so easy: step 1 is flowed by step 2 and so on.

SO FOCUS

Step 1 - Music on.

Step 2 - Pick all clothes from the floor - clean ones folded them and put them away, dirty ones - go to the laundry basket.

Step 3 - Strip the bed off - once in a while change the mattress protector -  put the linen to wash in the washing machine - if you have a big machine, add dirty clothes, with similar colour, to the wash - save energy, water and detergent.

Step 4 - Give a good shake outside, to the bedspread and carpets.

Step 5 -  Make the bed - it is so rewarding to get into a bed in the evening with the smell of freshly washed linen.

Step 6 - Go around the room and see what needs to be throw away and empty the bin.

Step 7 - Dust the room - remembering to dust the top of pictures, ceiling lights and skirting boards.

Step 8 - Clean fingerprints from doors, windows and light switches.

Step 9 - Hoover and wash floors - remember once in a while to remove things you have underneath the bed and give a good hoover and wash.

Usually, I can clean my room within, the same time frame, as my clothes, take to wash in the washing machine.
