HOW TO TEACH A CHILD HOW TO FOLD SOCKS

There is nothing better than to start training the kids from a young age how to look after they own clothes.

Mine, by the age they could take the sock off, they learned as they remove the socks from the feet, one sock has to go inside the other before going to the laundry basket.

They know if they are hanging the clothes to dry the socks have to be paired up beforehand.

Once the socks are dry, they collect the socks and fold them straightaway.

This was the way I taught my children, so would be easy for them to follow the steps.

STEP 3 - By using the fingers as a flat surface and keeping the thumb inside of one of the socks, turn the sock inside out.

STEP 4  - By keeping the fingers inside the socks, open the fingers in order to make the end as straight as possible.

Press the socks flat with the hand, so that that way the socks will go flat,so it takes less space in the drawer.
