HOW TO REMOVE YELLOW CURRY STAIN FROM MARBLE WORKTOP COUNTER
We have a piece of marble on our worktop counter. It is very handy and was a great idea but sometimes stains can be a bit difficult to remove. Today, we do not know how a bit of an oil curry fell into it and left a yellow stain.
I cleaned it the usual way but the stain persisted in staying
Let’s try bleach
STEP 1 - I add a drop of bleach to a damp cloth, slowly give a wipe and pressed gently into the stain. ( DO NOT let the bleach stay in contact with the marble for too long) As I wipe the stain with the cloth with bleach and wash straightaway with a clean wet cloth.
STEP 2 - If after all that the stain is still there, it is preferable to do STEP 1 as many times as you need, then let the bleach stay in contact with the marble for too long. A bit of bleach into a damp cloth, wipe, rinse and check.
NOTE - In the end make sure you rinse it really well using an wet clean cloth and polish dry.
FYI - I had to do it a couple of times in order for the stain disappear.
